Electric vehicle manufacturer Ola Electric has recently launched its new S1 Air electric scooter, targeting people who are looking to buy an EV scooter within a better budget.

With this, it has also expanded its e-scooter portfolio. With a range of around 100 km on a single charge, the new Ola S1 Air electric scooter will be a game changer in the Indian e-scooter segment, says Pavish Agarwal, CEO of Ola Electric.

Launched before Diwali at an introductory price of Rs 79,999, the current ex-showroom price of the new Ola S1 Air electric scooter is Rs 84,999. The introductory price of Rs 79,999 is valid for bookings made till October 24, 2022 only. The purchase window for the Ola S1 Air will open in February 2023 and deliveries will begin in April 2023. Currently customers can reserve this scooter by paying Rs.999. The Ola S1 Air lacks a few things compared to the high-spec variants of other Ola electric scooters as it offers a more affordable price than the S1 and S1 Pro scooters.

Ola Electric’s new S1 Air scooter is based on the S1 platform. It will include a 4.5 kW hub motor that will help it achieve a top speed of 85 kmph. According to the company, it has a maximum range of 100 km in eco mode. Weighing around 99 kg, the new electric scooter will be available in color options including Neo Mint, Coral Glam, Jet Black, Porcelain White and Liquid Silver.
